Adventure Camp PREP

RIDGEFIELD: Drop off and pick up will be at the bottom level of the Ridgefield United Methodist Church.  

Please park in the main parking lot in front of the church and walk your child down the gravel drive that leads to the lower entrance. This is where drop off and pick up will be, not the main entrance of the building. 

CAMAS:  Drop off and pick up will be at Fallen Leaf Softball Field in Camas, WA.

When you turn into the softball field you will follow the long driveway that is parallel to the softball field. You will arrive at a parking lot. Please park and check in your camper at the check-in tent that is located by the dugout. 

VANCOUVER/FELIDA: Drop off and pick up will be at the parking lot of Thomas Jefferson Middle School.  Please park and check in your camper at the check-in tent located near the parking lot. 

If you want your campers to sign themselves in and out of camp. a handwritten note must be hand-delivered by the parent to SHAPE staff on the first day of camp.  We only allow Adventure Campers the option for signing in and out with parent permission.

Safety is our number one priority.  Campers are required to wear their SHAPE NW Adventure Camp T-shirt everyday.  If you do not have a T-shirt and need to order one, you can pick one up at camp for $15.  Please note, campers who are not wearing their camp shirts will not be allowed to attend camp. No exceptions.  If your camper has a shirt and forgets to wear it, simply purchase another T-shirt from the staff.

We will inform you if other items are needed for certain events

We will spend time commuting each day and do not mind if campers bring their own things to camp for during those times. Each camper and parent assumes the risk of personal belongings in case of damage, loss or theft. SHAPE NW will not be responsible for any items brought to camp. If a personal belonging becomes a distraction or is deemed inappropriate, we may ask a camper to no longer bring their things.

Our full refund policy can be found online. Refunds for weekly or daily rates must be requested ten days in advance, if you need to switch weeks, a $25 fee may be assessed. $39 registration fees are non-refundable. For the Unlimited Summer Fun option, once your child has attended their first day of camp, no refunds or pro-rations will not be allowed.

The scheduled camp hours are from 9am-4pm. For the courtesy of our coaches, please make it your best effort to be there by 4pm. Late fees are at the rate of $15 for any pick up after 4:00pm up to the first 10 minutes and $1 fee for every minute thereafter. 

We have adopted a strict no-bullying policy. If for some reason a child has been involved in hitting or biting another camper or has demonstrated blatant disrespect to others including our coaches, the parent will be notified and asked to pick their child up from camp. Parents will be asked to find an alternative option for their summer needs even after only a single incident depending on the severity of that event. Refunds are not given for kids who are dismissed from camp for bullying or disrespect. Parents, please keep in mind that many days, campers will be off in the wilderness or on a lake, so if your child has recently been disciplined for behavioral issues this may not be the right camp environment as we expect full cooperation for the safety of your kids as well as others.
